Silicone Brushes – Colour Shapers BLACK are excellent tools for sculpting and adding incredible effects when modelling and sculpting with various putties, clays and polymer clay. They are somewhere between a paintbrush, a palette knife, a modelling tool and your fingers. Easy to clean and long lasting. Non-absorbent.
This clay shaping kit is the firm version of the black silicone brushes. They are twice as hard as the regular white brushes, and half as hard as the extra firm ones.
The kit contains 5 different brushes with 5 different tips, each with a length of 6 mm and a width of 3 mm - SIZE #0.
Each brush in the sizes offered has different uses depending on the putty you want to use. However, Green Stuff World recommends using white tipped brushes for soft putties, and SIZE #2 for harder materials like Green Stuff and Super Sculpey Firm, among others. This is a matter of taste and preference, but eventually, as your sculpting skills improve, you will end up having 1 set of each.
